Use of a refractometer

To make the most of this tool, a refractometer is essential. For measuring sugars in the fruit alone, a refractometer with a 0 to 32°Brix range is generally suitable. If you plan to measure sugar syrups as well, I recommend using one with a range of 0 to 90°Brix.
