Are you following an ice cream recipe but don’t have the right ingredients? Use the calculator below to convert fatty ingredients. For example, replace whole milk and 35% fat cream with skim milk and 30% fat cream. This is just one of the many applications. Be careful not to make extreme substitutions. Replacing similar products usually works well, such as dairy with other dairy, one peanut butter with another, or one cream with another cream. Choosing a completely different fatty ingredient (e.g., replacing cream with peanut butter) can (and will) usually throw the recipe out of balance.
